A 47 year old man was brought to the emergency room after having experienced chest discomfort and shortness of breath, followed by a syncopal episode. He was short of breath (breathing at 40 and requiring 100% oxygen to maintain an adequate saturation) and had a depressed level of consciousness. He was pale, diaphoretic, and in shock with a pulse of 120 bpm and a blood pressure of 70 mmHg systolic.

A 47 year old man was brought to the emergency room after having experienced chest discomfort on exercise. The first EKG was when he was seen in the emergency room.

This cardiogram was done a day later when the patient was chest pain free.
