This is an ECG strip and an audio recording from a patient checking his Medtronic VVI pacemaker over the telephone. This was a good quality transmission. Part of the printout of the rhythm strip is below. Click here to hear the transmission. Note the 4 fast beats at 100/min. near the end of the recording indicating that the patient has placed the magnet properly over the pacemaker.
