it is important to recognise this pattern as there are a number of reversible causes | |||

hypokalaemia or hypomagnesaemia | |||
drugs (e.g. tricyclic antidepressant overdose) | |||
congenital long QT syndromes | |||
other causes of long QT (e.g. IHD) | |||
